The last few days have been consumed with creating yet another garden Flag. I love embroidering on burlap! It is so easy, it weathers well in the outside elements, and there are several ways to finish the hems.
I belong to a Facebook group called Resources for Free Machine Embroidery Designs, Sales, Tutorials, Networking. My current machine (Brother LB6800PRW/SE400) only does a 4×4 design and that is not always large enough but I have found a great new hoop called a re-positional hoop that allows me to create a larger design (4 x 6 3/4).
I have paired with some great software called SewWhat Pro which allows me to split a larger design and stitch it using my re-positional hoop.

Supplies:
Re-positional Hoop, Temporary Spray Adhesive, Burlap, Tear away Stabilizer for the bottom, Wash away Stabilizer for the top.
My machine loves Mettler Thread, used the Brother Bobbin thread in the bobbin, The letters are applique and love the fall polka dot fabric.
